Grumpy Cat was an American Internet celebrity cat who was born on April 4, 2012, Morristown, AZ, and died on May 14, 2019 of a urinary tract infection, when she was only 7 years old.

Her famous look was caused by an underbite and feline dwarfism, and Grumpy Cat’s real name is actually Tardar Sauce. She became an internet star when someone posted a photo of her on Reddit in September, 2012. Since then she became so famous that there were even books written about her, though she is mainly known for being an internet meme. She will be missed by the whole internet and especially her family and her brother Pokey.
