6th Grade Celebration

The 6th grade celebration is a day of many station rotations for students to have fun with many activities to do at each one! This event will take place on June 3rd (Wednesday) at Julius West for the whole day. Each student will get a wristband based on which one of the five groups they’re in, and they will have to rotate through each station starting from their group color. There will be five stations in the bus loop, upper field, lower field, and the 6th grade science and social studies hallway. Each station will have some activities like four square, jump rope, capture the flag, bracelet/fidget making, legos, board games, and more! Lunch will be 47 minutes, students can feel free to sit with anyone. Lastly, students will be able end the day and watch a movie with their movie group based on their 8th period teacher.

Medieval Times (Grade 7)

The Medieval Times field trip for 7th graders gives students the opportunity to experience a medieval-style knight tournament while being able to enjoy a provided dinner. The event will take place on June 3rd (Wednesday) in Baltimore, MD. The provided dinner will include a Roasted Chicken, Garlic Bread, Corn, and Chocolate Chip Cookie. However, people with dietary restrictions can let their World Studies teacher know and have an accommodated meal. Lastly, the cost is $55 due May 4th with fee waivers and installments available.

As an end of the year celebration, 8th graders will be able to attend the Kings Dominion field trip! The field trip will take place on June 4th (Thursday) from 8:30 AM to approximately 8:00 PM in Doswell, VA. The students can move freely and see attractions, go on roller coasters, and have fun at the waterpark! Also, there will be afternoon checks with the chaperones at the Eiffel Tower location in the park. For meals, students are responsible for purchasing and eating their own lunch on their own as it won’t be provided. Lastly, the payment is $96.25 and must be paid through School Cash Online, by April 27th.
