Whether you are new to Zelda or already an expert, hopefully this guide will help you find all the necessary armor sets.

Armour:
There is a lot of armor in this game. I will list all the armors, what they do, and explain where to find them on your map in alphabetical order.
Archaic Set: Can be found in the start of the game on The Great Sky Island (If you are playing the game and have not found this already, I am concerned!)
Armor of Awakening Set: Full set found in the following caves: Thindra Plateau Cave, Ancient Columns Cave, and Coliseum Ruins Cave. For the Thindra Plateau Cave and Coliseum Ruins Cave there are Hinoks and Thunder Gleeok.
Armor of the Depths Set: Collect Poes, trade for armor at Bargainer Statues. There are a few statues in the depths and one at Lookout Landing. The set costs 650 Poes. The hood costs 300 Poes, the tunic costs 150 Poes, and the gaiters cost 200 Poes.
Barbarian Set: Increases your attack. It is found in the following caves: Crenel Hills Cave, Robred Dropoff Cave, and Walnot Mountain Cave.
Charged Set: Increases attack power during thunderstorms and the Stormy Weather Attack. Found in the chambers along the Dracozu River in the Faron region. I think you have to complete the Secret of the Ring Ruins main quest.
Climbing Set: Increases climbing speed. Found in the following caves: North Hyrule Plane Cave (It’s near the New Serene Stable), Plimus Mountain Cave near Zora’s Dormain, and Upland Zorana Byroad Cave near the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower.
Dark Set: ALSO traded with Bargener Statues in exchange for Poes. (Poes found in the Depths). The hood is 300 Poes and makes your eyes glow red, the trousers cost 200 Poes, and the tunic costs 150 Poes. The total cost (In Poes) for the set is 650.
Desert Voe Set: Can be bought using Rupees in Kara Kara Bazaar (In the desert). The total set costs 2,400 Rupees. It helps with heat resistance and also looks nice. The headpiece costs 450 Rupees, the spaulder costs 1,300 Rupees, and the trousers cost 650 Rupees.
Ember Set: It increases attack in hot weather. Can be found in the following caves: Goronbi River Cave, YunoboCo HQ South Cave, and Cephla Lake Cave.
Evil Spirit Set: Found in the Depths by completing the three Lomei Labyrinth Prophecy side quests. Must solve Labyrinths on the Surface, Sky, and Depths. It gives you a stealth boost. Also, it allows you to blend in with sceletol monsters.
Fierce Deity Set: Find the Misgo’s Cave of Chests side quest behind Foothill Stable. You need to use Ultrahand, it will not work without it. Walk into the giant room of chests and start pulling them out. Wearing the full set gives you a full attack up.
Flamebreaker Set: Makes you immune to flame when wearing the full set. Can be bought with Rupees in the Ripped and Shredded armor shop in Goron City. It costs 3,300 Rupees for the whole set.
Froggy Set: 🐸!! When climbing things in the rain, you can now not slip! Sadly, the only way to get this set is to complete all of the Gazette quests.
Frostbite Set: The whole set gives you attack up in cold weather. Can be found in the following caves: Lake Kilsie Cave, Brightcap Cave, and Hebra Headspring Cave.
Glide Set: It helps you when diving in the sky/gliding in the air. It can be found on the following Sky Islands: Courage Island, Bravery Island, and Valor Island. In order to get each piece of the set, you must complete the three Dive Ceremonies, where you must dive through these floating rings, and you are timed. You must activate the Steward Constructs on each Sky Island and pay a Zonai Charge for a try on the course.
Hylian Set: This set of armor gives a low-cost defence and gives you a hood. You can purchase this set in Mub’s General Store in Lookout Landing. This set will cost you 320 Rupees total.
Miner Set: This set helps you navigate the Depths by making you light up! You can find this set in the following Mines in the Depths: Abandoned Kara Kara Mine, Daphnes Canyon Mine, and Hylia Canyon Mine.
Mystic Set: This set allows you to lose MONEY instead of HEALTH. This set can be traded for 46 Bubbul Gems with Koltin. Koltin only appears at night. In order to find him, you must first start the Hunt for the Bubbul Gems! side adventure.
Phantom Set: This set increases full damage for combat in the game, but only when you wear all of the three pieces. The set can be found in the following locations: Puffer Beach Overhead Cave, Tamil RIver Downstream Cave (West of the Tamio River and protected by Gloom Hands), and the Ancient Altar Ruins (Gerudo Desert. It’s in a sand whirlpool in the East Barren.)
Radiant Set: In order to get this set, you must complete the Gloom-Borne Illness side quest in Kakariko Village in East Necluda. If you do not complete the side quest, this set costs 15,000 (5,000 rupees per piece). If you complete the side quest, the owner of the shop where it is sold will give you a discount for the Radiant Set. This set provides stealth and bone weapon proficiency. Either have a bone weapon or a bone-Fused weapon.
Royal Guard Set: Give you high-defence when you wear the full set. To find this set, you must go to Hyrule Castle and go to the Guard’s Chamber, King’s Study, and Zelda’s Study.
Rubber Set: Provides shock resistance in thunderstorms. This set is found in the following caves: Whistling Hill Cave, Sarjon Woods Cave, and Horon Lagoon Cave.
Snowquill Set: You can buy this set in the Brazen Beak armor shop in Rito Village. The total cost will be 2,150 Rupees for the whole set. Wearing the entire set will provide Cold Resistance.
Soldier’s Set: This armor gives you a high base defense. It can be located within the Royal Hidden Passage that can be found beneath central Lookout Landing. You can also get armor for your horse later in the game to match your Soldier’s set! Twins!!
Stealth Set: Again, this set allows you to be silent. You can purchase this set in the Enchanted Armor Shop in Kakariko Village. You can also lower the price on this by completing the Gloom Borne Illness side quest. The original price without completing the quest is 15,000 Rupees. With the quest completed and the price lowered, the set now costs 1,800 Rupees.
Time Set: This set can be found in chests in the Depths. They can be found in the Sturnida Lavafalls, Lindor Canon Mine, and gerudo Canyon Mine. When you upgrade this twice at the Great Fairy Fountains, you get the Master Sword Beam Up bonus when wearing the entire set.
Tingle Set: This set gives you a speed up bonus when you wear the whole outfit. Also, it makes the NPCs in the towns react with shock or fear when they see you (I mean, who wouldn’t?). This set can be found in the following caves: Eighth Heroine Cave (In the Gerudo Highlands. Shine sunlight onto the receptor), Dueling Peaks South Cave (Necluda. Find the room with the stone switches. Use the ceiling pattern from the North Cave in Necluda.), and Cape Cales Cliffbase Cave (East Necluda. You have to whistle in the cave.).
Twilight Set: The chests originally containing the set will still remain in the Depths, however. This set grants attack up when the full set is worn. You can find the set in the following places in the Akkala region of the Depths: Abandoned Eldin Mine, Ancient Underground Fortress (Underneath South Akkala Citadel Ruins), and in the Gleeok Den (Beneath the Thyphlo Ruins. A King Gleok there.)
Wind Set: This set grants attack up power when the full set is worn. The full set can be found in the following locations in the Depths: Under Davdi Island, the Cuho Canyon Mine, and in the Cressia Pit Mine. This set looks like the Link from The Wind Waker game. Again, please set your Sensor to “chest” to help find the three chests containing these pieces.
Yiga Set: This set allows you to blend in with the Yiga. This set gives you a stealth boost. You can find the armor in the following locations: Akkala Ancient Tech Lab (Northeastern edge of the map. You must defeat the two Yiga assassins inside, then talk to the NPC inside the building. There will be a map on the wall of the first floor with the locations of all the other surface bases!), Great Plateau (South of the Temple of Time–The Southeastern area. You can get this piece by looking for a small cabin surrounded by spikes. You must enter the cabin, defeat the Yiga, then speak to the NPC.), and Aldor Foothills (West of the Great Hyrule Forest, south of Mount Drena. Enter the cave, defeat the Yiga inside. In order to talk to the NPC you must use Ascend ability near the frog statues to reach the higher room where the Yiga members are keeping the NPC. Talk to the NPC and get the final piece of the set.)
Zonaite Set: This set increases the efficiency of the Zonai devices, basically extending your battery life. For one piece of the set, you get 25% longer duration. For two, you get 50% longer duration. So for three, it doubles your battery duration (Life), so you can use the Zonai devices longer. When you wear the Zonaite Helm, Mineru also wears the Helm and this overall increases her attack power. You can find the Zonaite Set in the following locations: Zonaite Forge Island (Necluda Sky. There are lots of lasers, navigate through them to reach the bottom, then ascend to the lava-filled lava behind the Yansaman Shrine to find the chest containing the Helm.) Sakala Sky Archipelago (Akkala Sky. Use the launchers to enter the sphere, solve the rotation puzzle with a stone cube and a switch, then use Ascend to reach the chest.), Lightcast Island (Tabanthat or Herba Sky. Navigate to the light-and-mirror puzzle in the cave system to unlock the chest. The chest is hidden near a Construct soldier.)
Zora Set: This set makes you swim faster. You can also swim up the waterfalls in this game, and Link can then use a spin attack in the water. You can find this set while doing the following quests in the Zora’s Domain region: Sidon of the Zora (Main quest), then complete the The Never-Ending Lecture (Side quest), to find the other pieces, complete the Restoring the Zora Armor (Side quest), and A Token of Friendship (Side quest).
Other Notable Items:
Amber Earrings: This accessory can be found in the Starlight Memories shop in Gerudo Town. It costs 400 Rupees and 10 pieces of Amber. In order to unlock the shop, complete the Missing Owner side quest. The only thing that they do for you is provide a high-base defence for a low cost.
Ancient Hero’s Aspect: Can be found in the Temple of Time after completing all 152 Shrines. It is only one item and transforms you into an ancient hero Zoni-looking-thing…… (It’s kinda hard to describe!)
Midna’s Helmate: Oh my goodness. This mask isn’t worth it. First, you can only get this mask by fighting five waves of Bokoblins in the Depths in the Lone Island Coliseum. All this helmet does is give you gloom resistance. A much easier way to get it is to simply scan the Twilight Princess Link Amiibo or the 80-th Anniversary 8-Bit Link Amiibo.
Cece Hat: This hat can be found in Hanito Village by completing the Team Cece or Team Reede side quest. The hat is gifted to you for free by Cece after completing the quest.
Champion’s Leathers: It’s a one piece item, so when you put it on, you will look like how you were in the first game. It can be found behind the thrones in the throne room inside of Hyrule Castle. You have to use Ultrahand to slide open the statue.
Diamond Circlet: Can be purchased for a total of 2,400 Rupees at Starlight Memories-the jewelry shop in Gerudo Town. Complete The Missing Owner side quest to unlock the shop’s inventory and purchase the circlet.
Island Lobster Shirt: In order to get this shirt, you must complete the side quest Dad’s Blue Shirt in Lurelin Village. Before completing this quest, you must complete the Ruffian-Infested Village and Lurelin Village Restoration Project quests. To find the shirt, pull the chest containing it from the bay using Ultrahand. This shirt grants you Heat Resistance.
Monster Masks:
Bokoblin Mask: This mask allows you to (You guessed it) blend in with Bokoblins. You can get this mask by trading one Bubbul Gem for it with Koltin. (Spoiler Alert) Eventually, Koltin will demand that you bring him ALL of the Bubbul Gems and will turn into a glowing, blue Blupee. If you don;t know what it is, a Blupee is a spirit that drops gems when you hit it with your weapon. And, no. You cannot find him after he transforms.
Horriblin Mask: This mask allows you to blend in with Horriblins and costs only 28 Bubbul Gems. I don’t know why it’s so expensive, but it’s totally worth it. 😁.
Lizalfos Mask: This mask allows you to blend in with Lozalfos. This mask can be purchased with 14 Bubbul Gems. Alas, it only comes in one color and cannot be dyed different colors!
Lynel Mask: This mask allows you to not be noticed by the Lynels for a longer period of time. Although, they will always find out that you are not a Lynel and try to harm you. Honestly, I think this mark is kinda’ silly, because the Lynels are too smart for Link’s tricks. The pose you make while wearing this mark is kinda funny! Also, I’ve tried to sit on a horse while approaching a Lynel and wearing the mask at the same time, but it didn't work and my horse almost died! You can get this (silly) mask by trading Bubbul Gems with Koltin (Kilton’s younger brother. You can find Kilton in Tarry Town. He makes monster sculptures for you if you give him a picture!) The mask costs 38 Bubbul Gems and cannot be bought with any other currency!
Majora’s Mask: This mask allows you to blend in with all monsters, but Lynels will become hostile when you get closer in distance to them. This mask is perfect for blending in with a crowd of monsters instead of wearing just one mask. You can find this mask in the Depths in the Floating Coliseum directly beneath the Hyrule Field Colosseum Ruins on the surface. Defeat five gloom-covered Lynels in order to get this mask. The Lynel mask will not even work on them. Here are the types of Lynels in the order you have to fight them: Red-Maned, Blue-Maned, White-Maned, Silver, and then an armored Silver Lynel.
Moblin Mask: This mask allows you to not get noticed by Moblins (Hence the name). This mask works all the time and the moblins will not know you are not a Moblin until you either take the mask off or you are in a crowd with a Moblin and another monster. Again, you can trade this mask for Bubbul Gems with Koltin after completing the Hunt for the Bubbul Gems side quest. The mask costs 3 Bubbul Gems (Very cheap!).
