Opinions of a Band Kid, by Calvin C.

Today, I encountered a band kid in the hallway. I proceeded to interview them and shed some light on their experiences:

What band are you in?

I’m in Band 3.

What do you play?

The oboe.

Why did you choose it?

I chose the oboe because this lady told me I would be a very good oboe player, and pressured me into playing it.

What’s it like being in Band?

It's really nice having a lot of people who also play instruments, but there are some people who slack off and don't play, which is kind of annoying.

Is Band really noisy?

Not as noisy as one might think, but I’m not really one to judge.

Do you drink your reed water? If so, why?

Yes. I don’t know why. I like it.

Pineapple on pizza?

NO. It doesn’t belong. It’s like mac and cheese with tacos: It doesn’t work.

Is it pronounced “Gif” or “Jif?”

I have no idea.
