The Easter Bunny is a magical bunny that delivers goodies and treats for kids and families all around the world on Sunday, April 20, also known as Easter Sunday. The Easter Bunny, who was originally called “Oschter Haws,” would hide eggs in the garden for children to hunt for like they do today.

Some Easter treats are chocolate bunnies and eggs, Peep marshmallows, and Jelly Beans. Christians celebrate Easter Sunday because of the resurrection of Jesus, but many people with different religions and beliefs celebrate Easter, too. There are many fun traditions and games to play to celebrate Easter Sunday. Some people hard-boil and dye eggs, hunt for easter eggs, decorate, bake treats, have a feast, or pray. Chickens represent new life, rebirth, and the resurrection of Christ. Bunnies represent fertility, new life, and the arrival of spring.
