On October 19th at 9:30 am, only 30 minutes after opening, the world famous Louvre was robbed in broad daylight by a group of 4 people in under 10 minutes. Dressed up as construction workers, they used a ladder mounted onto a truck to break into the upper floors of the museum to access the Apollo Gallery. They then stole 8 –originally 10– priceless antiques that are worth 102 million dollars, or 88 million euros all together.
The balcony the 4 used to break in had one sole security camera, however, it was pointing away from the direction the group broke into.
As of right now, 3 out of the 4 suspects have been found, one of them being a 34 year old Algerian man who resided in France before being arrested at the Charles de Gaulle airport on Oct. 25 , and another aged 39 who was also arrested on Oct 25 in his own home. The last suspect was a 39-year old man who was said to be the third member involved in the heist, arrested on Oct 29.
The pictures below are the items that were stolen:

Items stolen: Tiara belonging to Napoleon III's second wife, Empress Eugénie, as well as the decorative bow and the brooch. Other items include jeweled earrings, crowns and an emerald diamond necklace.
The Louvre Musuem–once a iconic landmark now faces economic consequences in losing a total of 88 million euros. This may pose questions on how a highly regarded museum that holds priceless artifacts could let this happen.
At the time of writing, the Roaring Gazette staff has not been able to confirm an alibi for Madame Burg. Since one suspect has yet to be discovered, this leaves room for us to assume that the seemingly “innocent” French teacher could have played a key role in this heist… And JWMAC has been suspected to be the ones behind this master plan, as well as Madame Parente.
So, what do YOU think happened? Was it Madame Burg? Was Madame Parente and JWMAC part of the operation? That is yet to be known!
