1: Tallest Sand Castle
The tallest sand castle, made by Skulptura Projects, was created on June 5, 2019 and weighs 12,125 tons. It has an astonishing height of 57 ft., 11 inches. The interesting thing is that it is made of only sand and water and took only three weeks to complete.
2: Tallest Living Person
The tallest man in the Guinness World Record is Sultan Kosan who is currently living at a height of 8 ft., 3 inches. This record still hasn’t been broken as the tallest man in the world was Robert Wadlow who sadly passed away in 1940, at a height of 8 ft., 11 inches. Kosan has a tumor in his brain, which produces growth hormones that make him grow, but he stopped growing in early 2020.
3: Black Death
The Black Death, formally known as the Bubonic Plague, was a pandemic that killed over 80 million people in Europe. This is the biggest virus that has ever happened than any other plague during its time.
4: Longest Journey in Minecraft
Kurt J. Mac has been documenting a passage to Minecraft’s Far Lands on YouTube since March 2011. Kurt pressed F3 and revealed he had traveled over 3 million blocks in the game. He has uploaded more than 800 videos charting his journey for charity aid.
5: Worst outbreak of Tarantism
Tarantism (or dancing plague) was first described in the 11th century. Victims of this plague were seized by an uncontrollable urge to dance sometimes for hours or even days. The worst outbreak occurred in Germany, in 1374, and saw around 15 people a day dancing themselves to death. The cause of this disease is unknown.
