The Unwanteds is a very thrilling and funny series by Lisa McMann. The main character Alex Stowe is sentenced to death because he is a "creative"; however, he finds a magical person who saves him and the other kids who were also sentenced to die. While his twin, Aaron Stowe, is wanted and is sent to a school for the "non-creative," Alex goes to a magical school with his new friends Megan, Lani, and Samheed.
Eventually the two twins and their schools are forced to fight each other, but this fight is just the beginning. The story is packed with betrayal, romance, and action.
I personally really like this series because I love fantasy and fighting books, and this novel combines these elements perfectly. Find this book at the Media Center to find out what happens!
